Hello, my name is Sum. I am a classically trained pianist and have been playing for over 35 years. I completed my Bachelor of Music at the University of Huddersfield.
I am passionate in sharing my love of music and teaching the piano to students of all ages (5 - 100!) Whether you are new to music, want to continue with your grades, learn music theory or learning a one-off piece for a special occasion, we will work together to achieve your goals based on your strengths. A well-rounded musician is the most successful one; your lessons with me will include technique, sight reading, aural skills and theory.
Music is a wonderfully universal language and lives in everything. Learning to play the piano allows you to express yourself as well as teach you how to problem solve independently.
I offer private piano lessons from my home in Leeds to adults and children and virtual lessons via Zoom or Skype. If you would like me to visit you for your lessons, please contact me to discuss.
